Milwaukee-area authorities are still looking for the 36-year-old father who is accused of taking off with his two children.
An Amber Alert was canceled late Sunday after police say two-year-old Winter Harbour and one-year-old Safari Harbour were found.
Law enforcement agencies are still looking for Darrell Harbour.
Milwaukee police think he shot the children’s mother Sunday morning, but she is expected to survive.
Additional details about how the children were found – and whether they were injured – have not been released.
Searchers think Harbour is armed and may be driving a car owned by the children’s mother.
Her name wasn’t released.
