A Manitowoc man was taken into police custody last week after he called 911 ten times claiming someone was in his home.
Officers responded to the 26-year-old man’s home in the 800 block of South 35th Street just after 5:00 PM and found him outside.
He claimed there was a man in his home, but a search revealed that was not the case.
His sister told the officers that her brother acts this way when he is on meth, and officers learned he had called nine previous times for the same problem.
Officers told him he was under arrest, but the man began to flee. He was quickly tackled and taken into custody.
He was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and was taken to Holy Family Memorial for treatment.
He was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Resisting or Obstructing an Officer, Misdemeanor Bail Jumping, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
