Due to dry conditions, the DNR has asked citizens of Brown County to avoid all burning.
Officials say that the risk for wildfire remains very high around the state, and the Brown County Fire Chiefs Association placed the county under a burning ban.
The ban will remain in effect until conditions improve, which could be sometime this week as rain is in the forecast.
There are a total of 22 wildfires burning throughout the state, covering around 200 acres.
The biggest is taking place in Juneau County in Central Wisconsin. That fire is covering around 100 acres according to DNR reports.
