A man who was convicted of stealing a car from De Pere and fleeing from Manitowoc Sheriff’s Deputies has been sentenced.
25-year-old Manitowoc resident Luis Narvaez was before Judge Robert Dewane this week and pleaded Guilty due to a No Contest plea. Narvaez will be spending the next 6 months in the County Jail, and will pay a $300 fine alongside his court costs by May 30th, or he will spend an additional ten days in jail.
Narvaez stole the car on March 25, 2020, and when he was spotted by a Sheriff’s Deputy, he fled. He continued to flee for around 20 miles, reaching speeds of up to 100 MPH.
