An employee of the City of De Pere has died after suffering injuries while on the job.
While they did not release any details, the City made the announcement on Facebook, where they say “Life-saving measures, including CPR, were attempted. De Pere Police and Fire Rescue responded to the scene, and the individual was transported to a local hospital, but unfortunately passed away as a result of their injuries.”
Mayor James Boyd said that his thoughts and prayers are with the family as an investigation has been opened up.
The City is actively assisting the De Pere Police Department in the investigation.
The name of the individual who died is not being released, nor are any details about the accident at this time.
