Residents in the City of Manitowoc are being reminded that today marks the start of the street sweeping parking ban.
Dan Koski, the city’s Director of Public Infrastructure, said that you are only allowed to park on the street after the posted time on the street sweeping sign.
Even though the sweeper may have gone by once, it may need to go by for a second pass.
If possible, you are asked to avoid parking on streets in the area being swept during the morning hours as crews can do a better job when cars aren’t blocking their access to the curb.
