Charlie Berens Getting the COVID-19 Vaccine in Manitowoc.
The comedian who brought us the Manitowoc Minute was on the Lakeshore, where he received his COVID-19 vaccine.
He arrived at the vaccine clinic run by the Manitowoc County Health Department, where he joked that he came for the free shots.
Once he learned that they were not serving bourbon or whiskey, he decided to settle on “da COVID deal” and was vaccinated shortly thereafter.
Berens received the Moderna vaccine, which along with the Pfizer vaccine, will not be administered to anyone under 18.
The Johnson and Johnson vaccine is the only available shot that will be given to 16 and 17-year-old patients according to Stephanie Lambert , the County Health Officer.
