Senator Andre Jacque of De Pere, along with fellow Republican Senators Robert Wittke of Racine and Rob Swearingen of Rhinelander, have penned an article where they criticize Governor Tony Evers, calling him “Governor No”.
They referenced the article written by Evers’ State Administration Secretary Joel Brennan, which took aim at Republicans.
They say it was “filled with many of the same tired political attack gimmicks that have become the hallmark of Evers’ administration during Brennan’s tenure”, namely smearing anyone who “doesn’t immediately capitulate to putting massive spending on the state’s credit card shortly after being proposed.”
They called the article “political theater”, and said that all they hear from the Evers Administration and his fellow Democrats is “No.”
