A Racine man was out on bond when he is accused of causing a major disturbance at the Walmart store in Mount Pleasant last week.
Police officers responded to a report about a man “swinging a stick” at customers.
David Berryhill Junior has been charged with bail jumping, resisting an officer, and disorderly conduct.
Officers say Berryville was “extremely belligerent” and threatened to kill them.
Witnesses say he had been screaming, “I am COVID,” and was coughing on people.
Authorities haven’t said if he was impaired during the incident.
