A Manitowoc man with an extensive history of legal troubles involving his mother has once again been arrested.
Officers were sent to a home in the 2000 block of Hamilton Street just after 2:00 AM this morning (March 30th) after the mother of 31-year-old Edwin Guzman-Galarza said he was at her home.
Officers spoke with Guzman-Galarza, who was court-ordered to have no contact with his mother, and he claimed that his mother just wanted to get him in trouble.
His mother told police that she woke up to find her son sleeping on her couch, so she asked him to leave. He reportedly responded by yelling at her, so the woman called the police.
Guzman-Galarza was arrested on charges of Criminal Trespass to a Dwelling, and two counts of Misdemeanor Bail Jumping.
Guzman-Galarza was previously arrested in January of this year, June and August of last year, and twice in 2018, all of which involved a disturbance with his mother.
