Spring cleaning time is here for the city of Manitowoc’s Evergreen Cemetery.
The city is asking residents to help by clearing away winter decorations to help maintain the beauty of the area.
Lot owners are being asked to have this done by April 15. Winter decorations not removed by then will be disposed of.
If you are not able to remove items, the city asks that you contact the cemetery office with your name and phone number and the names of the people buried at the gravesites involved.
New decorations may be placed beginning on May 15th.
