The Milwaukee Brewers have notified Daniel Vogelbach he has made the team’s Opening Day roster.
Vogelbach will serve as a pinch hitter and back-up first baseman.
Reliever Justin Topa will start the season on the injured list after suffering an elbow injury Saturday. The results of an M-R-I scan are still pending.
The Brewers say it looks like Jackie Bradley Junior and Lorenzo Cain will be ready to go on Opening Day.
Bradley scored twice and drove in a run in Sunday’s 7-1 spring training win over the Cincinnati Reds.
The Brewers meet the Texas Rangers today (March 29th) at 7:05 PM.
