The Wisconsin Badgers women’s basketball program will hire a former assistant coach from the uber-successful U-Conn Huskies program.
The U-W Board of Regents is holding a teleconference at 4:00 p-m today (Friday) to discuss the employment agreement with Marisa Moseley. Officials in the Wisconsin Athletics Department are hoping Moseley can turn the program around.
The Badgers were 5-and-19 this past season.
The Huskies won five national championships while Moseley was coaching there, then she has followed that will three successful seasons at Boston University as a head coach.
She will become the eighth head coach for the Badgers’ program replacing Jonathan Tsipis. She had a 45-and-29 record with the Terriers.
