A former coach for the Dallas Cowboys is coming to Wisconsin to work with Badger running backs.
Gary Brown was hired by head coach Paul Chryst this week to take the place of John Settle, who left for a job at Kentucky.
Brown wasn’t retained in Dallas when Jason Garrett was replaced as head coach by Mike McCarthy.
He didn’t coach last season while battling cancer, but doctors have cleared him to return to the job.
Brown coached N-F-L rushing leaders like DeMarco Murray and Ezekiel Elliott.
Chryst calls him “an impressive person.”
