During a meeting on Tuesday (March 23rd), the Door County Board passed a resolution that aims to improve diversity and inclusion in the County.
The resolution, which is part of an initiative started by the National Association of Counties, aims to address issues pertaining to employment opportunity, health care access, food, and housing.
This measure was backed by many, including the Door County League of Women Voters.
The resolution came to be after many people throughout the country began calling for more inclusion and diversity.
