The Manitowoc Department of Engineering has announced that Quay Street from South 6th to South 8th will be closed for over a month starting next week.
According to Greg Minikel, the street closure beginning Monday (March 29th), is to allow for the replacement of various underground utilities and reconstruction of the street.
Minikel explains that the section of Quay Street is expected to be reopened to traffic around May 7th.
