A 24-year-old Sheboygan man has been arrested in this case. According to Kiel Police Chief Dave Funkhouser, they are referring charges of Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct to the DA’s office.

Police in Kiel are trying to find the man who was reportedly trying to enter homes yesterday morning (March 23rd).
According to reports, the man was able to access three homes in the Kiel area through unlocked doors in the area of Fremont, 6th, and 7th Streets. When confronted by the residents, he reportedly left peacefully.
In total, seven incidents were reported to police between 8:30 and 9:45 AM. A similar incident reportedly occurred in New Holstein as well at around 7:00 AM.
The man was described as an African American man in his late teens or early 20s. He is thin, weighing an estimated 160 to 180 pounds, and was wearing dark-colored clothing and a knit stocking cap. His hair was either braided, or in dreadlocks, and he was seen driving a dark Volkswagon with possible front end damage.
