A former Green Bay City Clerk has accused Mayor Eric Genrich of verbally abusing her, and having an agenda with the November election.
Kris Teske resigned from her position with the City of Green Bay shortly after the election, calling the work environment “hostile” in her resignation letter.
In an email to the city’s Human Resources Director, Joe Fauld, Teske pointed to multiple times where Mayor Genrich would verbally abuse her in front of others, asking if the Mayor was talked to about it. She also said he did not allow his staff to be educated on election law in the run up to the election in November.
Faulds reportedly responded by saying that Teske didn’t provide any evidence that the work environment was “hostile.”
Mayor Genrich has denied the claims that he had an agenda with the election, and continues to say that the city did nothing wrong.
