The Wisconsin men’s hockey team will play Bemidji State Friday in the first round of the N-C-A-A Tournament.
The Badgers earned the number-one seed for the Bridgeport Regional, with the puck scheduled to drop at noon at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
The winner advances to the regional final the next day against the team that takes the contest between Massachusetts and Lake Superior State.
Wisconsin took the fourth overall seed in the tournament field announced Sunday.
The other top seeds are North Dakota, Boston College, and Minnesota.
This will be Wisconsin’s 26th N-C-A-A Tournament appearance.
