Manitowoc Lincoln continued its winning ways in Girls Tennis Saturday with a 5-1 victory over Bay Port in a dual meet held at Western Racquet Club in Green Bay.
Coach Stephanie Henschel explained the format was 2-singles and 4-doubles matches against the Pirates.
Highlights for Lincoln included a sweep of all double’s flights led by the #1 tandem of Elsie Steimle and Kendra Peterson. The other doubles’ winners were the teams of Pleus/Dvorak, Ramminger/Brockman and Wergin/Blaser.
In singles play, Olivia Minikel did not lose a game in sweeping Bay Port’s Allie Brosteau while Alyssa Heckmann earned the Pirates lone win, with a 6-1, 6-2 victory, over the Ships Sophia Wergin.
