Jim Teddy
Even in death, the love a former Two Rivers City Council member has for the Cool City continues to shine through.
Jim Taddy served on the Council for 25 years and left $46,000 for the city to use as they see fit. City Manager Greg Buckley told Seehafer News that “Council has earmarked [that money] for a splash pad/skating rink project that we are starting to plan for.” But, Taddy didn’t stop there.
Buckley said that “Last week we were notified that Jim had left just under $74,000 each to the Fire Department and the Police Department.” As for how that money will be used, Police Chief Brian Kohlmeier and Fire Chief Steven Denzien will attend the next City Council meeting with recommendations.
