Police in Chilton is warning citizens of a duo posing as homemade soap salesmen attempting to gain access to homes.
The suspects have been going home to home in the Chilton area as well as other towns and cities in Northeast Wisconsin.
The female would reportedly go up to the door, and hand the individual who answered a bottle of name-brand soap, claiming it to be homemade. If the homeowner agrees to see a demonstration of the soap, the woman would tell her “boss” a male who was still in their blue van. The duo would then attempt to gain access to the home.
Police Officials are warning citizens not to allow anyone into their home that they do not know personally, and if these individuals come to your home, to call the police immediately.
