Giannis Antetokounmpo scored seven straight points in the extra frame finishing with 32 points and 15 rebounds.
Philadelphia was playing without potential N-B-A Most Valuable Player Joel Embiid.
It was Milwaukee’s fifth win in-a-row and moved the Bucks to within a game-and-a-half of first place in the Eastern Conference.
Starting players had to log more court time because Milwaukee had traded away three players just before tipoff.
The Bucks host San Antonio Saturday.
