Other teams can still try to sign restricted free agent tight end Robert Tonyan, but to get him they would have to give up a second-round draft pick.
The Packers offered Tonyan a one-year, $3.4 million deal Tuesday. If Tonyan receives another offer, the Packers have the right to match it.
The attachment of the draft pick makes it less likely another team will try.
Green Bay has also offered a restricted free agent tender to cornerback Chandon Sullivan.
That $2 million offer doesn’t include a draft pick if another team signs him.
