Early this afternoon, First Lutheran send out a notice that their service tonight is canceled due to the weather conditions.
Pastor Rachel says, “In order to protect everyone’s safety, we are canceling the Wednesday Parking Lot Lent service scheduled for 6 pm tonight. The parking lot is incredibly icy, and we do not want anyone (or anything) put in harm’s way. We will mark Lent and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day next Wednesday March 24 at 6pm.
Stay safe. Stay warm. Remember Saint Patrick this evening – he advocated for the safety of children, for fair labor practices, and an end to slavery.”
