A Waupaca County SWAT team helped ended a two-hour standoff in Clintonville Monday afternoon.
Clintonville police say they got a call about a man inside a local home who was throwing and breaking things.
When officers arrived, they say they could hear yelling inside the home and could see blood on the stairs.
Some children were moved out safely, then officers saw a man on the stairs armed with broken glass. He reportedly told them he had a gun and was going to shoot them.
After two hours, the suspect and a woman came downstairs and surrendered.
The man’s name hasn’t been released.
No injuries were reported.
