Students at Marquette University say they are relieved after hearing about the arrest of a man accused of assaulting a woman.
The suspect’s name hasn’t been released, but charges are currently pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office. The woman was attacked near the campus last weekend.
Students were notified Sunday that a man had been threatening and hitting women in the area.
Students are being urged to use one of the 450 blue light phones on campus if they ever find themselves in a dangerous situation. The university also offers the Eagle Eye app to report trouble.
