A Manitowoc man is facing charges following a domestic incident early Monday (March 15th) morning.
Multiple officers were dispatched to a home in the 2600 block of South 21st Street for a family trouble call because the suspect has a history of fighting with officers.
When they arrived, they spoke with the victim, who claimed the 27-year-old man had asked for her car keys, but she refused to give them to him. The woman threatened to call the police if he refused to leave, which the suspect responded to by threatening to choke her and hitting an ashtray across the room.
When the officers attempted to take the suspect into custody, he reportedly resisted and refused to walk forcing the officers to carry him to the squad car.
He has been charged with Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer, Resisting an Officer, and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
