Organizers of the 2021 Celebrate De Pere Festival announced today (Tuesday) they are not ready to bring back the Memorial Day weekend celebration this year.
A statement released by organizers says the community, state, and nation have still not arrived at a new normal where they are able to ensure the safety of all of the festival attendees.
The event was canceled last year as well and the statement says they are hopeful for a return in 2022.
