
Two people were arrested in Manitowoc on Friday (March 12th) on drug charges after they were pulled over for having an illegal tint on their car windows.
According to a police report of the incident, an officer was on patrol, when they noticed a vehicle that appeared to have an illegal amount of tint on their windows.
He performed a traffic stop in the area of North 10th and Huron Street, and made contact with the driver and two passengers. The driver was a known drug user, so a K9 unit was called to perform a sniff of the vehicle.
K9 Neko indicated a positive alert, which initiated a search of the vehicle.
The 30-year-old female driver was arrested on charges of Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic, THC, and Drug Paraphernalia, while a 39-year-old male passenger was nabbed for Possession of Methamphetamine, and Drug Paraphernalia.
