There is only one meeting scheduled for this evening in the City of Two Rivers.
At 6:00 PM, the City Council will gather in the Council Chambers.
After hearing input from the public, the Council will authorize the purchase of a front-end loader for the Public Works Department, before recreating the section of the municipal code regarding snow and ice removal. The changes will clarify the fact that property owners are responsible for removing snow and ice from the public sidewalks adjacent to their property.
The Council will also enter a closed session, where they will discuss their contractual relationship with Progress Lakeshore, possible city assistance for some unspecified economic development projects, the purchase of the former Hamilton property, and possible redevelopment of the former Paragon Partners property, which is now owned by the city.
