With Spring officially beginning soon, the owner of Hartman’s Towne and Country Greenhouse in Manitowoc says Spring is breaking out in the greenhouse.
Tom Hartman told Seehafer News, “It’s looking more and more like that every day. We grow pretty much everything we sell. We’re planting geraniums and hanging baskets, doing a number of different things, and are extremely busy.”
Hartman added that “every week gets a little busier up until summertime.”
The local greenhouse is still in production mode, but as Hartman explained, “It won’t be long before we turn it into a retail greenhouse.”
The local plant specialist says also helping with the growth pattern are the increasing length of days and adequate sunshine we’ve experienced over the past month.
