A Manitowoc man was recently arrested on child sex charges.
The investigation into the 42-year-old man began on March 11th, when the victim informed the Manitowoc Police Department of a series of sexual assaults that took place between May and December of last year.
According to a police report, the victim told authorities that they were afraid to report the abuse because they “thought he was going to hurt” them.
The suspect denied performing the assaults but was arrested on charges of Engaging in Repeated Acts of Sexual Assault of a Minor, and Felony Bail Jumping.
