The Crossing of Manitowoc County and the Lakeshore Community Action Program have announced that the organizations have joined forces to create the Connections Count program.
Connections Count Program at Lakeshore CAP is a free and voluntary program.
Once a referral is made to the program, the client will be assigned a Community Connector who will connect them to resources. These will help them achieve any family goals they may have like housing, employment, parenting, basic needs, children’s services, and others.
Belinda Esquinas, Executive Director of The Crossing explained in a news release, “We are thrilled to have a system in place that can benefit a partner organization facilitating the distribution of some essentials to parents and families in our community.”
