Allegations about the presence of an outside consultant at Green Bay’s central ballot-counting location during the November general election have a Wisconsin state senator calling for an investigation.
Republican Erick Wimberger wants to know what was going on.
Brown County Clerk Sandy Juno sent an email to the Wisconsin Elections Commission saying she believed the Central Brown County location was “tainted” by the influence of Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein with the National Vote at Home Institute.
Some Republican lawmakers have called for the resignation of Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich.
In a news release, Wimberger stated, “Every American should have confidence in how their elections are run. This massive abuse of power significantly damages that trust, and we must ensure that situations like this cannot occur in the future.”
