Police are investigating a report from a woman who says she was attacked by a U-W-Whitewater basketball player.
Whitewater Police Chief Aaron Raap says freshman forward Will Schultz is considered a suspect, but he hasn’t been arrested.
If charges are filed, Schultz could face counts of battery and being underage at a bar.
The victim filed the complaint Friday afternoon saying she was attacked as bars were closing early that morning.
Someone has started a change.org petition to get Schultz thrown off the basketball team and expelled from the university.
