A lawsuit filed against Foxconn Technology Group by a Racine County developer has been dismissed.
Daniel Hintz of Caledonia had alleged the Taiwan tech company violated the terms of its contract by failing to build a giant manufacturing plant near Mount Pleasant.
Hintz owns hundreds of acres of land in the Interstate 94 corridor near the plant’s projected location.
He had anticipated an explosion of development near the facility where 13,000 people were going to be working.
Hintz asked that his suit be dismissed and the Racine County Court did so last Friday.
