Gas prices are continuing their ascent in Eastern Wisconsin.
According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, Manitowoc County saw a huge jump, up 8 cents to $2.66, while Sheboygan County only saw a 2 penny rise to $2.62.
In Calumet, the rise was only 3 cents to $2.63, while Outagamie County’s average price per gallon of fuel rose 7 cents to $2.60. Despite the big jump, they still have the cheapest price in the area.
Door County also saw a huge jump, up 8 cents to $2.73, and they continue to have the most expensive gas in the area.
Brown and Kewaunee Counties both actually saw their price decline, down one cent in Brown to $2.64 and down 3 cents in Kewaunee to $2.65.
The state average also rose six cents to $2.68, which does still remain below the national average of $2.79. That number actually went up by 5 cents from last week.
