Cleveland State ended its semifinal meeting with U-W-Milwaukee on a 10-to-one run while ending the Panthers’ season at the same time.
The Vikings moved on to the Horizon League tournament championship game with the 71-65 victory. Cleveland State is the tournament’s number-one seed.
Josh Thomas led the Panthers with 25 points, while Te’Jon Lucas had seven assists and Amir Allen took down a career-high 15 rebounds.
U-W-Milwaukee finished the season with a 10-and-12 record.
