A 29-year-old Manitowoc man who allegedly threatened to kill his wife remains in the County Jail on a probation hold.
Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa set bai at $150 recognizance for Kaleb J. Holmes on a charge of Disorderly Conduct with a Domestic Violence Enhancer.
Manitowoc Police were informed late last Friday afternoon that a driver of a vehicle on the city’s northside was being threatened by a passenger. (Holmes). Officers pulled the vehicle over and that’s when Holmes fled on foot only to be apprehended a short time later.
The driver turned out to be the mother of his children and she explained that they were to have no contact with each other per a court order. She added that Holmes became upset when she asked him to get some diapers for a child allegedly cursing at and threatening her.
Conditions of bail are that Holmes have no contact with the victim and report to the Manitowoc Police Department for photos and prints upon his release.
His initial appearance is scheduled for April 6th at 10:30 AM.
