It is still a ways off yet, but registrations are now being accepted for the 2021 City of Manitowoc Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 31st.
According to Stacey Groll, Assistant to the Mayor, information including the registration form, can be found on the City of Manitowoc website, Manitowoc.org/MemorialDayParade. The Veteran’s groups who assist with organizing the event remind registrants that the purpose of the parade is to honor the men and women who died while serving in the U.S. Military. It is meant to be done in a respectful, patriotic, and honorable way. And, as a result, there is no candy permitted to be distributed at this parade.
