The Green Bay Packers new special teams coordinator has a message for his punter and long-snapper – be more consistent.
Maurice Drayton singled out J-K Scott and Hunter Bradley at a news conference this week. He said the two understand that “their backs are against the wall.”
There’s no doubt about Scott’s powerful leg, but he’s had “issues” since he was drafted in 2018. He absorbs a lot of the blame for the Packers ranking low in several special teams measurements.
Bradley’s inconsistency caused a blocked punt in Houston and a botched extra point against the Rams in a playoff game.
There are too many available options for the team for those two Packers to relax this off-season.
