
As the Spring General Election draws ever closer, the City of Manitowoc is preparing to give citizens a chance to learn more about the candidates.
The Candidates Forum will be held on March 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and will be hosted by the Citizens Advisory Committee.
All candidates running for a position in the city have been invited, including Chad Beeman and Todd Reckleburg, who are running unopposed in Aldermanic Districts 2 and 10 respectively. They have both submitted prepared statements.
The forum will also feature District 1 incumbent Brett Vanderkin and his challenger Theresa Schmitt, District 3 candidates Theresa Collins and Michael Cummings, Scott Pelot, and Tim Boldt who are vying to represent District 7, and Mayoral Candidates Justin Nickels, the incumbent, and challenger Christopher Able.
The event will be completely virtual and will be aired on the City of Manitowoc Facebook Page, at www.Manitowoc.org, on Zoom, and on Xfinity Channel 4.
