Fire crews in Green Bay were quick on their feet yesterday afternoon (March 3rd), as a multi-story home caught fire.
The Metro Fire Department dispatched firefighters to the home in the 800 block of South Fisk Street at around 2:15 PM, and upon arrival, the crews found a dire had broken out inside the wall of a stairwell.
Within 20 minutes of arrival, the fire was out and overhaul was completed.
No injuries were reported and the fire caused an estimated $10,000 in damage.
The cause is still under investigation, but it should be noted that the home was in the process of being remodeled.
