Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst says his team’s salary cap situation won’t stop it from signing a high-end free agent.
Gutekunst says if a particular player is out there and he is the best thing for the Packers, it will get done.
He says he won’t be able to hand out a lot of big-time contracts, but his hands aren’t completely tied.
Gutekunst says much of Green Bay’s ability to add free agents will depend on what is done about standout players like Aaron Jones and Corey Linsley.
