A Manitowoc man has been arrested and charged in connection to a drug overdose death from last year.
The Manitowoc Police Department was informed of an unresponsive man in an apartment located in the 4700 block of Hessel Court on December 11th, 2020.
EMS pronounced the man dead shortly after they arrive
The man was known to have a drug addiction, and an autopsy confirmed that an overdose of heroin was the cause of his death.
The victim’s half-brother was interviewed, where he admitted to supplying the drugs that killed the victim.
The 23-year-old man was then arrested and is facing a charge of 1st Degree Reckless Homicide.
