The Milwaukee Brewers had scored three runs before making their first out of the spring Sunday while pounding the Chicago White Sox 7-2.
Keston Hiura, Avisail Garcia, Tyrone Taylor and Dylan Cozens had home runs in the six-inning game.
Manager Craig Counsell said if the rookie Taylor keeps hitting the ball “hard like that,” there’s no way not to notice. Taylor had homered in a Saturday intrasquad game. He has 48 major league at-bats in the last two seasons.
Players say the game was a lot more fun with 2,300 fans in the stands providing the energy.
Milwaukee meets the Arizona Diamondbacks this afternoon (March 1st) at 2:10 p-m.
