A 23-year-old Manitowoc man remains in the County Jail on a charge of First Degree Reckless Homicide following the drug-related overdose death of his half-brother late last year.
Court Commissioner Patricia Koppa set bail at $10,000 cash for Aaron M. Alvarez.
Manitowoc Police responded to an apartment last December in the 4700 block of Hessel Court. The victim was known to have a drug addiction and was pronounced dead by EMS Personnel. Alvarez later admitted to authorities that he supplied his half-brother with the heroin that killed him and he was taken into custody.
The lone condition of bail is that Alvarez maintains “absolute sobriety” and his initial appearance is scheduled for March 8th at 1:30 p.m.
