The anticipated showdown between top-ranked Wisconsin and a strong Nebraska volleyball team was postponed earlier in the day Thursday. Later, reports indicated the Badgers will be taking a 14-day pause due to COVID-19 cases inside the program.
The two schools say they will be working with the Big Ten to try to reschedule.
Wisconsin has rolled to a perfect 10-0 record and the Cornhuskers have lost just once in eight matches.
U-W volleyball head coach Kelly Sheffield says all team activities are on pause. That means matches against Iowa on March 5th and 6th will also be postponed.
