Milwaukee is missing something as spring approaches, but nobody is complaining.
The city says the complaints it is receiving over potholes are down by about 70-percent.
Milwaukee city engineer Jerrel Kruschke says the roads are in relatively good shape because it hasn’t seen the extreme temperature fluctuations until this week’s warm-up.
Some pot holes are starting to pop up this week, so the call volume could start to build.
Kruschke says the Department of Public Works normally has about a thousand pothole complaints by the end of February most years, but there have only been 285 so far.
